Holtec will be exhibiting at the upcoming Fabtech exhibition in Mexico City May 2-4. For many years we have been serving the metal fabrication industry with nitrogen generators, mostly to support laser cutting machines with a low cost alternative to bulk nitrogen. However we do also support heat treatment, brazing, and many other applications.
Our local partner in Mexico, Nitrogeno Verde, will be joining us at the booth to assist with providing turnkey solutions to all our customers. We look forward to talking with all our customers. Hope to see you there!
Holtec was happy to receive Representative Ann Wagner (2nd district, Missouri) at our offices last week. Representative Wagner was given a tour of our manufacturing facilities and a brief introduction to our current business climate. She was happy to discuss current and upcoming tax legislation and what is needed to help our business. Also discussed were tariff, trade agreement, and employment policies. We hope she will find those discussions useful as she returns to Washington to participate in national policy.
Come visit us at FabTech 2017 in Chicago! Holtec will be exhibiting at booth A3291 this year and we look forward to seeing you.

On May 29, 2016, Thorstein Holt traveled to Cuba on a trade mission with Governor Nixon and the Missouri Department of Economic Development. The main purpose was to “pave the road” for future business when the trade embargo is lifted. A meeting was set up with key Cuban officials and the trip was so successful that Thorstein will soon be returning to Cuba for further meetings. Thorstein found the island very charming and the Cubans very warm and welcoming. He looks forward to when the relations are normalized between the two countries.
